Traci Clark
Traci Clark is a paralegal for Catherine S. Hendrix and for the law firm. Thirteen years ago, after attending Lander University, she moved to Columbia and began work in the legal field at the Richland County SolicitorĂ¢??s office. Traci honed her skills at other law firms in the Columbia area where she gained extensive knowledge in the Family Court arena.
Her duties include: corresponding with clients, opposing attorneys, judges and court personnel; meeting with clients, opposing attorneys and their staff members, judicial staff and court personnel by telephone and office conferences, concerning case status and settlements; preparing any pleadings, motions, orders, agreements and other documents assigned to her; scheduling depositions, hearings, pre-trial conferences and status conference with the Court; assisting at trial; and general office duties.
Charlene J. Kehl

Charlene J. Kehl is Ken H. Lester's paralegal and a paralegal for the law firm. She received her Associate in Business-Paralegal Studies from Midlands Technical College in 1991 and a B.S. in Management of Human Resources from Central Wesleyan University in 1994. Ms. Kehl worked for a sole practitioner in Lexington specializing in family law before joining the firm in 2005. She has 20+ years working as a family law paralegal. She participated as a speaker at the South Carolina Family Law Practice for Paralegals seminar held in Columbia, South Carolina in the fall of 2006.
Her duties include:
- Corresponding with clients, opposing attorneys, judges, and court personnel
- Meeting with clients, opposing attorneys and their staff members, judicial staff, and court personnel by telephone and office conferences concerning case status and settlements
- Preparing any pleadings, motions, orders, agreements, and other documents assigned to her
- Scheduling depositions, hearings, pre-trials, and status conferences with court
- General office duties
J. Courtney Smith

J. Courtney Smith is a paralegal in the law firm. She worked as a probate paralegal for in Beaufort, South Carolina, from June 2001, through October 2002. After this she worked as a family law and litigation paralegal. In April 2003, she was fortunate enough to be able to leave the workforce and become a stay-at-home mom. Until her employment with us in June 2007, she spent her time raising her four children.
Her duties include:
- Corresponding with clients, opposing attorneys, judges, and court personnel
- Meeting with clients, opposing attorneys and their staff members, judicial staff, and court personnel by telephone and office conferences concerning case status and settlements
- Preparing any pleadings, motions, orders, agreements, and other documents assigned to her
- Scheduling depositions, hearings, pre-trials, and status conferences with court
- General office duties
She received her A.S. in Public Service/Paralegal Studies at the Technical College of the Low Country in May 2001.
Our remaining support staff are actively involved in the operations of our firm and always available to assist our clients.
